You access higher levels of consciousness with meditation. When the awareness expands, a person experiences a spiritual awakening. Even when you do not feel it, shifts begin to happen within a couple of days. Meditation helps your spirit become one with the Universe. It also makes you one with your higher self.

There are many ways to practice pause and reflection. You can evaluate your thought patterns while sitting in meditation. Another great way is to write a journal. A journal can have anything that you feel will make a better version of you. It does not have to be limited to writing affirmations for things you want to shift or manifest. Perhaps try making a reflection journal to jot down the events and the lessons that might be behind them. It is a good idea to reflect upon your belief system. If something is not helping you grow, you will get to know by reflection. If there is room for improvement, you will know. The more you will reflect, the more you will ground yourself spiritually. Everything that nature has created carries prana, the life force energy. While staying close to flowing water, trees, leaves, and mountains, you will absorb their vibration. Trees are great for grounding.

Mountains help you rise above your limiting beliefs, while water teaches resilience. If you gaze at stars at night, you will find many wonders. Apart from absorbing energy, nature also gives you a chance to take a break. When the stresses of life are away, you get a chance to face your inner world. You can find many answers to your problems in nature. There are so many metaphors in nature that are lessons to make you believe in yourself all over again.

Practice Self Love

When we think of self-love, we only consider treating ourselves with a treat or watching a movie while staying in bed. Self-love also includes listening to your emotions. If on some day you feel sad, sit with that feeling and have a conversation. It also means saying yes and no when you think you have to. Self-love also includes loving yourself unconditionally, admitting the flaws, and then growing out of the negative patterns with grace. If you take care of your body as self-love, then also take care of the mind and the spirit. Mind, body, and spirit are connected.

To feel good physically, you must first feel good spiritually. If you have a habit of giving out love, observe if you are filling your vessel too or just pouring it out, leaving yourself empty. Also, see if you can maintain healthy boundaries and avoid people-pleasing. Here, we would like to make you aware of what self-love is not. If someone jumps the line between self-love and self-obsession, it becomes narcissism.

Forgive Often

Forgiveness is not always easy. It feels like we are defeating ourselves and letting the other person win. But this is not true. Once you take the courage to forgive a person who wronged you, you make way for healing. You cut the energetic connection with that person. It makes way towards ending your suffering because most traumas stay in your body due to unforgiveness. When there is no energy exchange, you can tend to your inner wounds and understand them better.

It is not about forgetting what happened to you. It is not even about trusting that person again. It is about your spiritual freedom. Your soul has a much higher purpose in this world than resenting someone's actions from the past. Forgiveness is a process. Maybe you will not forgive someone overnight, but the decision to forgive is what matters. It may take you days or months, but know that you are on the path to healing. It will take energy, but it will not be as much soul fragmenting as holding on to resentment.

Have An Attitude Of Gratitude

Gratitude is like a skill that you can master with regular practice. It is a gateway to bringing joy into your life. Sometimes life gets so hard that it becomes impossible to look beyond the obstacles. Gratitude is never the denial of hardships. It is rather about showing the problems, you still can feel grateful for what is going right in your life. With gratitude, you tap directly into the frequency, where your higher self is. It is the frequency to which the Universe responds with speed. Gratitude also strengthens our relationships. We cannot live in isolation to feel better spiritually. It is not just the peace of the inner world. The harmony of the outer world too affects us to some extent, if not entirely. Gratitude helps us appreciate the people who love us and those who do not. When you are grateful for the lessons low vibrational beings teach you, you rise a step above your current spiritual level. When you feel thankful for the people who love you, you attract more people who love you unconditionally and help you grow spiritually. You feel like giving them love and kindness back, strengthening your spirit even further.
